Step into an evening where history, storytelling, and music come alive ✨🎶

Join us Tuesday, July 14 at 7:00 PM for a captivating performance by Ménestrel, a Canadian ensemble blending early music with the rich folk traditions of the Maritimes. Inspired by the legendary Helen Creighton’s collection of over 4,000 folk songs, this performance offers a beautiful glimpse into the melodies and rhythms that shaped Eastern Canada centuries ago.
Grounded in history yet refreshingly modern, Ménestrel’s sound is intimate, emotional, and unlike anything else. An unforgettable night of music, culture, and storytelling awaits. ‼️🔥

The Remarried Empress

Navier (Shin Min-A) is the Empress of the Eastern Empire, admired for her intelligence, grace, and natural elegance. She lives a peaceful life alongside her husband, Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji-Hoon).

Although Navier does not love Sovieshu romantically, she cares for him as a close friend and family. They grew up together, spending most of their childhood side by side and sharing the same dream of building a great empire.

However, their relationship begins to change when Sovieshu brings a runaway slave named Rashta (Lee Se-Young) into the palace and takes her as his mistress, breaking the promise he once made to Navier that he would never take a concubine.

Meanwhile, Prince Heinrey (Lee Jong Suk), the first heir to the throne of the Western Kingdom, belongs to a royal clan that possesses the secret ability to transform into birds. After taking the form of a bird,
Heinrey travels to the Eastern Empire to spy on the palace. There, he encounters Empress Navier and gradually falls in love with her.

When Navier receives a divorce notice from Emperor Sovieshu, who has fallen in love with Rashta, she refuses to simply accept her fate. Instead, Navier makes an unexpected request-she asks Sovieshu for permission to remarry Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom.

Different distance than normal, same love for the sport. 31 miles / 8000ft climbing 🙌

The route took us on a lap of the city wall, and then up into the mountains and bamboo forests. It was beautiful! The climbs & descents were really, really steep, with lots of fast running sections mixed in. And the humidity was 97%. I was fully soaked starting at mile 1. 🥵😅 What a fun adventure! Jiā yóu! Jiā yóu!

Thank you @tsaigu! It was so special to spend the weekend with all of you! And thank you to the @salomonrunning team. So many memories made together this week! 💚
