This was my original post that due to issues with the internet....blah blah...I was unable to post while there. So here's the first instalment of images.

It's been a very busy couple of weeks since arriving in Changsha, China for my residency at Changsha Normal University.
An incredibly huge place with many delightful students and staff plus gorgeous gardens. So not much sightseeing  just making and learning about the local clay, ( no porcelain) and responding to the history of the Tongguan Kiln site in the city, blessed to have Yixin @amazinglightsup for guidance and organising. Here's a few pics fom whats been happening very locally (in a city of 10 million people!).
