I don’t love crying on the internet, but this is the reality of living with a body that doesn’t always cooperate. I’m in a flare right now, and honestly, I’m frustrated. Frustrated that I lose days of my life to symptoms. Frustrated that plans get canceled. Frustrated that I’m still searching for answers. The hardest part isn’t even the pain or exhaustion it’s the uncertainty. Not knowing when it will pass. Not knowing why it keeps happening. Trying to keep showing up for my family, my work, and myself while feeling like my body is fighting against me. Most days I try to stay positive, but today I’m just being honest. If you’re navigating a chronic illness too, I see you. The invisible battles are still battles, and some days simply making it through is enough. #autoimmune
