Still can’t believe we’re actually saying this…we’re pregnant 😭 After 2 1/2 years of praying and waiting, we are so grateful to God for this miracle. Our plan definitely didn’t look like God’s plan but wow are we glad it didn’t! We were so blessed to pursue adoption & bring Rosie into our family and now she’s getting a little sister! If you’re seeing this and are in your own waiting season, we want you to know that we see you. We went through over 2 1/2 years of disappointment and heartache seeing everyone’s pregnancy announcements so we know how bad it can hurt. We hope you can feel our sensitivity towards you & love for you as well! Keep going. Good things are coming 💛 Can’t wait to meet you baby girl!!! Rosie is gonna be the best big sister!
Happy 19th bday to my little queen Ever!!! What an incredible journey you’ve created for yourself in this life! It’s so amazing to watch you use all the tools you were exposed to so purposefully and expertly. It’s gratifying to any parent who wants their kids to appreciate the world around them. Then, see you add all that to your experiences everyday, learning, growing and evolving into the capable, resourceful and inspiring person you are today? Nothing could make me more confident of your present and future choices which ease the fear everyone has when their children grow up and go out into the world. Your beauty is of course impossible to ignore 🤯 but your interest in becoming a compelling, independent, passionate, cultured and disciplined human is a gift beyond comparison. You, in truth, have been a gift in every way. As a mother, you have brought me love in ways I couldn’t imagine before you. As a friend, you’ve been loyal and thoughtful even when I know it was difficult for you. As another soul I share this life journey with, you have both been my student and my teacher until now I can just admire you for who you have become, separate and unique, a powerful force of nature. The storm over the horizon has fully formed and now is about to be unleashed. My umbrella is out and my secret smile anticipates the effect you will have on the world around you. Xo mamachka
The Belleville Three member has died 🕊️ A spokesperson for Greensmith Artists, the agency that represents the legendary Detroit producer, confirmed to RA that he was found unresponsive in his hotel room in Mexico City this morning, and later pronounced dead after being taken to hospital. Born in Detroit in 1962, Atkins grew up in the nearby town of Belleville, where he met future collaborators Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson. They'd become known as the Belleville Three: a trio whose pioneering work in the early '80s helped establish the Motor City as one of electronic music's most important creative centres. Atkins's influence extended well beyond his hometown. As Detroit techno found audiences across Europe, particularly in the UK and Germany, his productions helped inform a new generation of producers and DJs. His music became closely associated with the futuristic, machine-driven aesthetic that would shape the genre's development throughout the late '80s and '90s. Lil Baby really put together a whole short film for this one 👏 Y’all peep that snippet with Metro Boomin? 👀🔥 Baby just dropped the trailer for his new album ‘FRESH,’ out Friday. Metro Boomin, Future, and Rylo Rodriguez are all on the project, and that snippet gives us a taste of what Baby and Metro have been cooking up. Which collab are you playing first? 👀
