Rikollisuuden suhteen on oltava tiukka linja. Samat lait koskevat kaikkia.

Samalla kaikkia ihmisiä on kunnioitettava alkuperään katsomatta.

Ongelmista on voitava puhua. Suomalaisten huolet on otettava tosissaan. On Suomen asia päättää siitä, millä ehdoilla Suomeen saa tulla, miten täällä saa toimia ja mitä tulijoilta vaaditaan. Tämä ei ole muukalaisvihaa. Velvoitteiden ja vastuiden kautta kotoutamme ihmisiä kaikkein tehokkaimmin.

Orpon hallitus on tehnyt monia järkeviä kiristyksiä maahanmuuttopolitiikkaan.

NYT flies some guy in from Cincinnati, parks him with Meth Camp Mike for a couple days, and he comes back saying Denver solved homelessness. 🙄

German Lopez saw the tiny homes and the hotel rooms bought with one-time federal cash, rode along on a morning patrol, and decided the 64% drop in unsheltered counts means every other city should copy this.

What Lopez actually watched was the city spending HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS to relocate people into low-barrier hotel rooms with zero rules. Sure, street homelessness numbers will go down when you move the problem indoors but that’s not a solution.

The people still cycling through this system are mostly deep in addiction to meth and fentanyl, and/or dealing with serious mental illness. An apartment key doesn’t fix that. It just relocates the drugs, the crime, the overdoses, and the chaos into buildings or onto the next block. Neighbors around these sites have been documenting this while the mayor’s office keeps pointing at the PIT count and cherry picking stats. But…Lopez didn’t stay long enough to see any of that.

Housing First without accountability is just a try-to-hide-the-problem program. No consequences means no pressure to get treatment or be a productive member of society.

The article even admits the remaining street population needs the kind of intervention progressives hate, and that the money is running out.

Enforcement only ramps up when election season hits. The rest of the time it’s warnings and an ask to “move along.”

Lopez got the gaslighters’ official tour. The rest of us have the video evidence. Copying Denver’s model just spreads the same expensive failure. Do better, @nytimes

How long does it take nature to create something like this? 🇮🇸

Thousands of years of water carving its way through volcanic rock, leaving behind deep canyons, incredible textures and shapes that almost seem too perfect to be natural.

I’ve explored so many different landscapes in Iceland, but these places still fascinate me. Especially from above, when you suddenly discover patterns and details you would never notice standing on the ground.

Sometimes the most incredible artist is simply time.

#AsapRocky speaks on being somewhat responsible for the direction hip-hop is going by signing #PlayboiCarti to AWGE 👀

“My artist that I birthed is like the godfather of the new contemporary rage vamp music. And [Playboi Carti] came from ASAP. He came from AWGE. He is still signed to AWGE. At the end of the day, if that’s where hip hop is going, then technically I’m somewhat responsible for whatever it is and whatever it turns into. So I’m more embraceful towards it, even if I don’t get it, even if it’s not for me.”
