Yesterday we took an excellent historic masonry workshop with mason Brian Daddis. The workshop covered materials, how to repair a damaged brick, and how to repoint mortar joints. We went home with a list of resources and information and after years of uncertainty, I feel like we can finally tackle repairing our foundation.

The workshop was put on by the @landmarksociety with the help of the ineffable Steve Jordan, @painintheglass.us. They're planning to offer more of these types of workshops so if you're local be on the lookout!
