Paris Hilton hosted a Creator Summit for content creators with ADHD yesterday and I had such an amazing time. There were informational panels, people sharing their experiences navigation life with ADHD, sensory activities, and so many ways to celebrate and embrace who you are the WAY you are 💖 @parishilton insisted on meeting and hearing from everyone & genuinely seems like such a sweet, thoughtful person. As someone who’s always been extremely curious, needed to reread pages from school textbooks until I cried, gotten called “weird” (which has always felt like a means to control by making you smaller), been mocked and called names by partners and people I trusted, it really has been a long path of resilience and hard work. I’m glad I am the way I am and love so many different things. I choose to stay optimistic about people and the kind, introspective, thoughtful folks I’ve met inspire me to keep doing just that ⭐️ thanks for all the support! it means so much. #UNSTOPPABLE

HU Staff: Kecia Gayle @kecia.kae Thursday became the scene of tragedy for students and staff at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend and a father who lives close by ended up in the middle of it. ___________________________________________________ Police say three children and one teacher were killed Thursday, and the suspected shooter, a 16-year-old, was shot dead by an armed bystander. The kids were 5, 8 and 11 years old. Two more people, a 7-year-old and a 54-year-old teacher, were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Now we know who that bystander is. ___________________________________________________ Kaylub Giamanco, 36, is the father of two girls at the school. His brother told NBC News that Kaylub was driving on his lunch break when he heard gunshots, then watched the teen head into the building. He didn’t wait around for somebody else to handle it. Police say Giamanco was a lifelong Bend resident, and the shooter was found shot and down inside the school. The chief says the shooter forced his way in by firing at locked doors, and Giamanco followed him in and intervened. Officers pulled up at 1:02 p.m. By then, the threat was over. ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 Getty Images /
