Nine years later, and @rivermason_’s mural still stands proudly alongside Newark School of the Arts. I can say without hesitation that I gave birth to a legend.
@rivermason_, I am beyond proud of the young man you’re becoming. From national recognition and major accomplishments to inspiring others through your journey, you’ve already achieved more than most do in a lifetime—and you’re only getting started.
The mural may honor what you’ve done, but I know it’s only a glimpse of what’s ahead. The best chapters are still being written. This is only the beginning. ❤️
