Adam Sandler’s Eight Crazy Nights (2002) is an adult animated musical comedy that has become a unique, nostalgic staple of the winter season. Co-written and produced by Sandler, the film centers on Davey Stone, a 33-year-old alcoholic troublemaker in the small town of Dukesberry who faces jail time after a destructive holiday bender. Instead of prison, a sympathetic judge sentences Davey to community service as an assistant basketball referee alongside Whitey Duvall, an eccentric, deeply optimistic elderly man. Sandler showcases his vocal versatility by voicing Davey, Whitey, and Whitey’s fraternal twin sister, Eleanore. While the movie is known for its trademark Happy Madison crude and scatological humor, it is also celebrated for its high-quality, beautifully rendered 2D hand-drawn animation and its musical numbers—including an updated version of Sandler’s famous “The Chanukah Song.” #adamsandler #eightcrazynights #christmasmovies #november #fypageジ
