A great visit from Bruce LaBruce! ✨ Godfather of the queercore movement that challenged respectability politics with punk defiance, LaBruce leaves no taboo unshattered in his outrageously subversive, unabashedly kinky cinematic provocations—now playing on the Criterion Channel! Bringing underground camp humor to a queer reimagining of SUNSET BOULEVARD with HUSTLER WHITE, necrolust to the goth zombie satire OTTO; OR, UP WITH DEAD PEOPLE, and surprising tenderness to the sexually frank age-gap love story GERONTOPHILIA, LaBruce asserts a radically queer vision that finds liberation in transgression.

Bruce's Picks:
MOUCHETTE
SORCERER
SIMON OF THE DESERT
3 WOMEN
A TASTE OF HONEY

Come to work with me

Gen Z has turned walking into a whole lifestyle, and they’ve even given it a name: walkmaxxing.

For a lot of young people, fitness is less about looks and more about clearing their heads, getting off their phones and building habits they can actually stick to.

It’s social too, with walk clubs becoming a new way to meet friends and even potential partners, and 66% of Gen Z fitness group members said in a 2024 survey that they’d made new friends through one.

Apps like Steppa add another layer, letting users bet on themselves to hit daily step goals and earn cash for staying consistent. The idea is simple: put money into a shared pot, hit your steps every day, and split the winnings with everyone else who makes it to the end.

And whether you win the pot or not, every step still counts toward your health. A 2025 study in The Lancet Public Health found that walking 7,000 steps a day was linked to a 47% lower risk of early mortality compared to 2,000 steps, with no gym membership or special equipment required. #SteppaPartner

@worthvalleyrailway supplies the best event of the year and they smash it every time, I always feel so much appreciation for the volunteers who make this event happen, as a bartender I can appreciate how much work this was. Thankyou for your service troops 🫡

Why would the same movement pattern build different glute regions? This is so silly. You need to learn some biomechanics so you don’t fall for pseudoscience.
