๐ŸŽฌ Power Rangers Samurai is the eighteenth season of the long-running Power Rangers franchise, which premiered on Nickelodeon in February 2011 as the first entry produced by Saban Brands after the company reacquired the rights from Disney. Based on the Japanese Super Sentai series Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, it follows a new team of Rangers who inherit ancient Symbol Power from their samurai ancestors to battle Master Xandred and his army of Nighlok monsters. The Nighloks seek to flood the Earth with the poisonous waters of the Sanzu River; the core team consists of Red Ranger Jayden Shiba, Blue Ranger Kevin, Pink Ranger Mia Watanabe, Green Ranger Mike, and Yellow Ranger Emily, later joined by Gold Ranger Antonio Garcia, with the group morphing via Samuraizers and piloting origami-inspired Zords in combat. The season marked a return to a multi-season format, continuing as Power Rangers Super Samurai in 2012, and was the first to be filmed and broadcast in high-definition widescreen. It featured a brighter, more comedic tone than some previous entries while emphasizing themes of duty, family legacy, and teamwork through sword-based battles and element-powered abilities. Though it successfully reintroduced the franchise to a new generation of viewers with solid ratings and memorable characters like the stoic leader Jayden and mentor Ji, fan reception has been mixed, with praise for its action and visual style often tempered by criticism of its heavy dependence on adapted Sentai footage and simpler storytelling.
โ€œToo youngโ€, โ€œtoo oldโ€, โ€œtoo riskyโ€ to be prescribed hormone treatmentsโ€ฆ These are just some of the things women are told when seeking help for their hormone health. So many women are being refused hormone treatments - progesterone, estradiol and testosterone - which they both need and want. Many women are still being wrongly told their symptoms are โ€œnormalโ€, that theyโ€™re imagining them or that hormone treatments are too โ€œdangerousโ€. Often without a proper discussion about the evidence or their individual circumstances. For my Halloween live Q&A on my YouTube, I asked you to share some of the frightening things youโ€™ve been told about your hormones so I could separate fact from fiction. Iโ€™ve shared five of the many questions I responded to here, and there are many more which you can watch on my YouTube channel, Dr Louise Newson. Link in bio. Iโ€™d love to know, whatโ€™s the most frightening thing youโ€™ve ever been told about your hormones or hormone treatments?
