This place deserves to be on my feed. I’ve not stopped thinking about the Chogyotang and the suji butter bibimbap

For this chapter, we wanted every frame to feel unmistakably Armenian. Mount Ararat. Khachkar carving. Lavash made by hand. Armenian ballet. Ancient textiles, traditional movement and symbols that have carried meaning for generations. Christianity is deeply woven into Armenian identity, from its ancient churches and monasteries to the stone crosses carved into khachkars. Armenia was the first nation to adopt Christianity as a state religion, and that history is still visible everywhere. We went deep into the details for this film, including UNESCO-recognized traditions, centuries-old crafts and cultural references that only make sense because of where we were. Nothing was chosen by accident. - Director @jamesmfenwick

⚠️LANDSLIDE Update 10/23/2026⛔️
Here is some more video from today. Thank you CalTrans and Ortiz Enterprises Inc. and everyone involved working on this situation.

Caltrans has implemented a three-phase plan to address immediate concerns, reintorce the slope, and develop a long-term stabilization solution.
Phase 1: Install plastic sheeting as an immediate protective intervention to prevent rainwater from entering the slope.
Phase 2: Reinforce the base of the slope with a fill buttress armored with large rocks to help dissipate wave energy and reduce erosion. Work will be scheduled around tidal conditions, as crews can only perform the work during low tide.
Phase 3: Caltrans is working closely with CA State Parks to develop a stabilization approach to ensure long-term safety of the roadway and its condition. Project timeline will depend on the selected approach.
