Atlanta Police Deputy Chief Kelley Collier was engaged in a two-year extramarital affair with U.S. District Judge Eleanor Ross. The relationship included loud sexual encounters in the judge’s chambers during business hours that were overheard by court staff.

Judge Ross received a private reprimand from the judicial conduct committee for the affair, attending a political event, and making false statements during the investigation. Atlanta PD has launched an internal probe into Collier.
