My strategy was to go out hard to try and secure a spot for the super finals. 19:56 was good enough for 19th in my heat and seeded me 84th for the super finals. Then I beat my seeded place to finish 61st (11:34) in the super finals. Which I was thrilled to do on tired legs! So much fun to run without caring about time and just compete. The course was quite technical with a lot of sharp turns which I took super wide so as not to fall and the gravel part of the course took me aback at first. But was awesome to finish in the warehouse with super hype music! Loved stepping out of my comfort zone and this was a great event!
