B L U E | I think this has been the most tricky bathroom I’ve ever designed. I was originally planning blue & white stripes in here as it’s the bunk room bathroom but I’ve decided I want to keep it a bit more mid-century feeling. I’ve been all around the houses with the blue tiles though. I nearly gave up on them but some of these images have convinced me to keep going with them. I think with blue one just has to be very careful it doesn’t end up looking clinical by introducing wood, art, softness and another colour such as red. I think I’m second-guessing everything as there’s so much hanging on the design of the whole of Vipers Quay. It’s not been touched properly since the 1990s and I’m now responsible for the house’s design on behalf of my entire extended family, which im loving, but I’m also feeling the weight of that responsibility. I’m off to the house (it’s in Devon) on Tuesday along with some of my cousins to strip as much out as possible ahead of the builders starting on the 9th. We’re trying to save a bit of money by DIYing this bit as we’re on a tight budget. It’s real and it’s happening and I’m piling the pressure on myself to sort out the final design decisions. I’ll keep you posted on where I end up with this room and all the others. Keep coming back and watching if you’d like to see how this bathroom and the whole house unfold over the next few months. I hope you enjoy the transformation of this incredible house as much as me! #bathroomdesıgn #bathroomdesignideas #bluebathroom Bathrooms / images by (in no particular order) @uns.hobbs_interiors @winckelmans.1894 @workbyhowl @studio.sonny_ @amandanasturas @keepontilingvic @harford_house @_studio.shields
POV: It’s HOT in Abuja! 🥵☀️ And this orange iced tea? Cold, fruity, and refreshing! 🧊❤️ Abuja heat is not for the weak! 😂 Who needs a glass? 🥂
$47 billion. That’s what this war is costing everyday Americans, with no end in sight. At least until Trump says so. Those aren’t my words. They’re his. But the bills? Those are ours. More at the pump. More to carry a credit card balance, while some companies are cutting limits. More for housing. More for groceries. More just to live. Then add the tariffs from last year. We absorbed the higher prices. Now companies are getting money back, but where’s the refund for the families who already ate the cost? Political decisions get made in the name of what’s “good for the country.” Everyday people still have to figure out how to pay for them. Meanwhile, people who own the companies receiving those dollars can build more wealth. Understand what that means: Your money needs a plan beyond your next paycheck. You can work more hours, but there’s a limit to how much of your life you can trade for money. Ownership gives you another way to build. That’s the power of what we’re doing. We’re helping everyday people understand the market, become owners, and build a system they can follow through the chaos. Start with a focused portfolio. One framework we use: two ETFs, two growth stocks, and one blue chip. Understand what each investment owns, where they overlap, and how much risk you’re taking. Build those positions toward 15–20 shares, then consider adding a sixth. From there, keep building toward 100 shares across all six, at a pace your budget allows. Share counts give us milestones. Position sizes and investment quality still matter. We look for opportunities on pullbacks, but a dip alone doesn’t make something a good buy. We buy with a reason, review what we own, and invest with a long-term mindset. The goal is ownership. The method is consistency. The power is having a system you can repeat. If you’re looking for a community that helps you understand the market, navigate the chaos, and put that system into practice, come join the family.
