The honor of hosting this conversation with @netflix & @americanblackfilmfestival about the Celebration of Black Television was not lost on me! Debbie Allen? Mario Van Peebles? Courtney Kemp? I MEAN… and so so many other amazing talents on the stage.
Television has been my soulmate since I was a kid. Since I was a little girl playing inside a cardboard box that I made to be a tv. It’s in my DNA. And it’s a forever thang.
