#Boosie is facing a felony aggravated assault charge in Harris County after police say he allegedly hit a security guard in the head with a glass hookah base at a nightclub in downtown Houston, @fox26houston reports.  _____________________________________
According to court records, the incident happened around 2 a.m. on May 24 as the club was closing during Memorial Day weekend. Police say the situation started after a security guard reportedly refused to let a woman use the restroom before escorting her out of the club.

Investigators say the woman dropped her belongings while being escorted out, and as the security guard bent down to pick them up, he was allegedly struck in the back of the head with a glass object. The guard told police he saw blood running down his face and allegedly saw Boosie holding a broken hookah base. Court documents state the guard received eight staples in his head due to the injury.

They say it takes a village to raise a child. Well, the same thing could be said of breaking a band. Radiohead’s ‘village’ was Oxford in the early 90s, and it was made up of local promoters, managers and music enthusiasts. At the heart of all of this was Ronan Munro who ran the local music magazine called Curfew.

Through his writing and support, he played a huge role in creating a sense of a thriving and credible musical community. This, in turn, allowed all the nascent Oxford bands, including us, to believe in themselves. He gave us our first feature article (even though we were called On A Friday at the time…) which was a huge shot in the arm and felt like a very significant step forward.

Three decades on, and with Curfew having morphed into Nightshift, Ronan is laying his pen to rest. All of us who have been raised in the Oxford music village owe him a huge debt of thanks. Sending love and respect to Ronan from Radiohead X
