A LETTER TO THE WONDERFUL WOMEN OF MAKERFIELD about Reform’s little coward Rob Kenyon

Over the next few days a personal message from me to thousands of women in Makerfield will be hand delivered. It’s a message, woman to woman, and it’s about the power these good women hold in the coming by-election to protect other women, and hopefully to set a path for us to follow.

I don’t know a single woman or girl online who hasn’t been bullied or humiliated or abused by disturbing and personal comments. And it’s getting worse.

But Reform thinks all of that is fine.

You see, Reform’s Makerfield candidate Robert Kenyon was exposed by HOPE not hate with a long list of nasty and disgusting online comments, including one about me where he agrees that he would like to ’smell and lick Carol Vorderman’s ar***e”, a comment which has dragged me into his mess.

Here are some others

- comparing English to European women…how English women “..don’t care….just walk around with their fat bellies and strange shapes….”

- after seeing photos of European women rugby players ”you couldn’t get me off that with a bazooka”

- About female rugby players and the way they “handle their knockers”

- suggesting women “can’t drive” or ‘referee’

- and if you’re in any doubt he’s openly stated ‘I’m sexist.”

Over the last days I asked for an apology to all the women he’s abused, which the little coward has refused to do, coming up with the age old line “it was just a joke”.

Reform has said basically that if any woman complains about these ‘mild tweets’ they are just ‘clutching at their pearls’. So you know where Reform stands on online abuse- right in the dregs of it all.

I know I’m a little late, but I still wanted to share this special moment.
This post means so much to me because of the effort, love, and thought behind it. My husband could have easily bought me the expensive bouquet from any fancy store, but instead, he chose to make one himself!
He carefully added every little detail, the leaf, the flower with so much love and effort, making sure nothing felt incomplete. And honestly, that means far more to me than any random expensive bouquet ever could,
It’s the little things, the genuine effort, and the love behind them that make a woman feel truly special. 🥹🤍

I’m truly a very lucky wife. Alhamdulillah!
