Water-Soluble Thread

We use water-soluble thread in certain applications where temporary stitching is needed during production. The thread dissolves during washing, leaving no trace in the finished garment.

In this example, water-soluble thread is used to attach a jacket’s lining to the outer fabric. This allows the two layers to be handled and sewn as if they were a single piece, helping to improve accuracy and efficiency during the sewing process.

水溶性糸

縫製工程では、用途に応じて水溶性糸を使用することがあります。水溶性糸で仮縫いを行うことで、製品の洗い工程後には糸が溶けてなくなり、完成品には残りません。

この例では、ジャケットの裏地と表地を固定するために水溶性糸を使用しています。二枚の生地を一枚の生地のように扱うことができるため、縫製時の精度向上と作業効率の向上につながります。
