Katie McCabe is set to join Chelsea on a free transfer after her contract with Arsenal expires, according to the Athletic ✍️

She reportedly turned down a late contract renewal from Arsenal in April because it offered a very specific role in the team, and she preferred a move elsewhere. Although Manchester City were also interested, Chelsea won the race for her signature after she was attracted by their ambition and the club’s interest in her over a long period 🔵

However, Man City are set to sign England left-back Niamh Charles from Chelsea. And Arsenal are going to sign Ona Batlle. We are witnessing one of the craziest windows ever… and it’s officially not even started 😳
