welcome to my new series ‘Why It works’ the reason why you probably follow me is because at some point you came across my style. Maybe I inspired you to work with your own closet, making new combinations. This series is all about that: finding new silhouettes and combo’s I find in my own closet that could inspire you to create new combo’s yourself. With these series I’m going back to where it all started for me: my love for style and styling. Easy, fun and accessible. Today I’m styling a white midi skirt with a beige oversized sweatshirt (old Arket 4 years ago). The key is to find neutrals that work together, from there you focus on silhouette: a slim skirt means volume at the top. The burgundy necklace from @huntingseasonnyc adds a modern touch while the big black shopper (@liestudio_ ) adds nonchalance. I chose a kitten heel for a longer line.
