Neighbors, a Miami-Dade woman is facing charges after authorities say her 8-year-old daughter was found with visible injuries from alleged abuse.

Naseline Timouche, 27, faces charges of aggravated child abuse with great bodily harm and child neglect after deputies made contact with her and the child on Saturday.

According to reports, the girl told deputies she was beaten with multiple objects, including a charging cord, frying pan, and spatula, and said her mother would wake her up in the middle of the night and hit her “for no apparent reason.”

She also reported being left home alone for “extended periods of time” and was told she wasn’t “allowed to eat in her residence because the food is for ‘guests.’ Therefore she can eat expired foods or food from the trash.”

A witness told deputies she met the child about two months ago and became concerned, later allowing the girl to stay at her home after seeing her walking alone at night on Friday.

Timouche was later arrested after returning home at 5 a.m. Saturday after being out all night and allegedly did not call 911 when she realized the child was missing. She also allegedly admitted to hitting her daughter with a charging cord. 🎥: @local10news
