Surprise! “Star Wars” actor #JohnBoyega is officially a married man — and he’s getting ready to become a dad! 🎉🥳

The 34-year-old actor dropped both bombshells during a recent interview with The Guardian, revealing that he’s been secretly married for nearly two years and is expecting a baby boy with his wife. Boyega shared that the couple opted for an intimate wedding ceremony rather than a traditional #Nigerian celebration, although he hopes to have a bigger celebration down the road. “We got a baby cooking,” he announced, adding, “My life is completely, completely fulfilled in terms of family. It’s been so nice with the timing.”

While Boyega stopped short of revealing his bride’s identity, his confessions come amid heightened speculation that he secretly tied the knot with actress #TaeHeckard, 48. The two only follow each other on Instagram, and Heckard’s bio currently reads “Tae Boyega.” She’s also shared social media posts seemingly hinting at their relationship, including a cartoon sketch appearing to depict the pair and a photo showing her reflection in Boyega’s sunglasses.

Big congratulations! ❤️💍🍼

Bruh how does one wrap their head around this 😩 winning the Olympia is craaazzzyyy man. I’m still here tryna let it hit me that I really did that. Ten years in this game and to finally reach the top blows my mind. It’s not that I didn’t believe in myself it’s just you never know! This is a sport of subjectivity and working in such a precise way to bring your body in on point that you just gotta rely on the work you put in and pray it all comes together on point. I’m just happy man. The stars aligned, every detail tended to and we brought that winning package and I’m proud. Ima be real with ya, starting this journey I didn’t know I’d come this far. Not that I didn’t see it for myself but like I didn’t know anything about this sport when I first hit the stage in 2017. I came in bright eyed and ready to do what needed to be done to get right with myself. I came into this journey seeking a sense of healing and empowerment. To prove to myself that I can do something that challenged me in ways I had never been challenged before. To grow as a woman, to learn about my body and mind. And along the way I found the passion and desire to take it all the way. I wasn’t someone who lived and breathed this sport before I started or even in the beginning. I grew a deep love for it along the way. The process of improving and learning what it means to become a champion. I’m so grateful for all it’s taught and brought me in these last ten years and look forward to what I’ll do going forward. 🥹🫶🏽
