So blessed to be less than 2 months away from celebrating 2 years sober.

God has me exactly where He wants me to be. Today, I get to be a father. I get to be a grandfather. I get to be someone people can rely on. I get to show up and be of service.

Every Tuesday night, I have the privilege of co-hosting a recovery meeting at church with people walking through the same struggles I once faced. Many are fresh out of addiction, looking for hope, direction, and a new way of life. I get to love on them, encourage them, and show them that recovery is possible.

I'm living proof that we do recover.

If we don't stay connected, support one another, and continue to seek God, it's easy to fall back into our old ways. The enemy works slowly and patiently, trying to pull us back.

But not me, homie.

I'm staying sober. I'm staying grateful. I'm staying in service. And most importantly, I'm staying holy.
