I love this haircut! She has a really big cow lick so if you’ve been wondering about that, you can see it in the cutting part of the video.

It’s kind of a mullet, but it’s also kind of a shag and so it looks really feminine. The hair color looks exactly like my dog Ivy as well split in half which I love. I literally put nothing in her hair to style it, just cleansed with New Wash and let it completely be its own natural texture!

When you can’t seem to get the haircut that matches your personality and you really want it to be more brave and edgy. The way I’m carving into the details with my razor. Makes a haircut super easy to wear by shaking it out and letting it air dry. It will grow into something similar to what she came in with believe it or not, and looks softer as it grows, but start super edgy.I love haircuts that transform over the next year and you get kind of three or four looks out of one cut. I didn’t really this haircut, except putting a little bit of gel on my fingers and running it through the ends while it was wet and kind of sculpting the bangs a little bit very very easily with my fingertips since they were cut already do this. Also, the petals on her side cheeks happened simply because they’re caught this way and I put a little tiny bit of gel to accentuate. They popped right into place… no effort at all. The Hairstory gel I’m talking about is on my website. It’s my magic bangs styling product for when you want that sculpture vibe and it dries silky and soft. A bob on super heavy hair. This is what makes the razor so well suited for this haircut. There is so much movement you can wear it a bunch of different ways! It will also look fantastic as it grows out. We went a tiny bit shorter than the info so that it would grow into it perfectly and you get the best of both worlds. This haircut looks great tucked behind the ears or when you add a little extra product and make it look slick. My favorite for that is mixing the hair oil and the hair gel together it kind of gives hold and a slightly wet look that’s really subtle and soft to touch.For her hair I recommend ditching foaming shampoo. Shampoo over-cleans fine hair, leaving it limp, dry at the ends, and oily at the roots. New Wash cleans with aloe and essential oils instead of detergent, so your hair stays balanced… fuller, softer, and healthier.Your doesn’t need harsh shampoo—it needs gentle cleansing that supports natural texture and volume. Once you stop stripping your hair, you’ll never go back! Lots of plump volume! .Thank you for trusting me @itsberlyd really fun haircut to do ! ...On a personal note, I need advice from you guys:I realized I haven’t had a vacation in a full year besides a few weekends here and there where I was working on my phone half the time. I live in northeast Los Angeles there’s mountains and trees here and a lot of cool artsy people but there’s also a lot of freeways and it’s urban I need a place I can go that has trees and birds chirping and the breeze and maybe the ocean. I can get too kind of fast. I can take an airplane. I just want to be somewhere magical and forestry with maybe a little water, I will hop on a plane do whatever I was thinking of going back to Nevada city for a couple days or to the Hot Springs but if you have any recommendations, please let me know!I’m honestly out of ideas and too tired to think anything up besides like “go to New York for work! Go to London, oh and you can work! “Like how about sleeping on the beach or something instead? Nature!
My formula for ALL of your hair, despite your density or texture is this:1. Get a razor cut where the razor is used to slice not shred. To give piecey bits, not frizz. To give crown layers, not make your ends skinny.2. DITCH foaming shampoo that strips your hair (even if it calls itself moisturizing). Switch to new wash cream cleanser and watch your hair, get voluminous, supple all at the same time.3. Spritz undressed texture spray in the roots of your hair when you get out of the shower it takes 30 seconds.4. Rub Hair Balm on the ends of your damp hair with your fingers. Takes 30 more seconds.5. Shake your hair lightly… if you have bangs comb them down (they will naturally fall into place) 30 seconds6. Air dry. Tuck the front behind your ears. Unless your hair is curly. .That is it. Three minutes.. I gave extra time to towel dry and shake the hair.A beautiful haircut should not take work. And yes, that includes you. .The products are eco-friendly without synthetic fragrances and vegan. They are on my website with a discount for you. What a treat it was to cut @ferriscorrell’s hair!She had breast cancer a few years back and lost her hair. As it grew back, she started cutting it with my classes and has ever since. I happened to run into her at the farmer’s market and she told me she was my biggest fan so I told her come on in for a haircut! Her plan is to continue growing out her new hair, it’s a lot curlier than it used to be so we’re excited to see the new shape it takes ❤️I used Hair balm on her wet hair to get the definition and Undressed texture spray at the roots to get the lift . I like the undressed texture spray by Hairstory much more than the Root lift spray. I just think it works better. I tend to be very tired untrue with hair products and I don’t use very many of them. There are maybe five or six that I love and I stick with them because they work best. Everything I love is on my website with a discount code for you guys. I don’t have every product that Hairstory makes because I don’t list the ones I don’t love. But the ones I do love I love A LOT.For the record, none of the products I use have synthetic fragrances only essential oils.My top favs:-New wash original. They also make unscented I like both.-Hair Balm. Great for defined touchable texture.-Undressed. My favorite root spray to get really nice volume in the crown where Hair tends to get flat.-Gel. The softest silky gel ever perfect for combing your bangs into place while they are wet and letting them air dry. Also amazing for curls when you need more hold.-Hair oil. Silky and lightweight. I mix it together with the gel in my hand or with the hair balm in my hand to add even more shine. Can also be used on its own for featherweight shine.-Powder. Best super volumizing dry shampoo ever. Amazing for oily roots or bangs.-New Wash Rich nice to wash your hair and get a bit more moisture. I like the original, but I use this one as well. I do not use the deep version..Last one, I really love the purple color boost, put into new wash to take brassy hair away. I love what it does to my blonde hair, highlights, natural, silver, and anybody who needs a purple shampoo, but wants it to be new wash!
