💻⚡ NVIDIA is moving into the one part of the computer it never controlled: the main processor inside your laptop.

At Computex 2026, the company revealed the RTX Spark, an Arm-based superchip built with Microsoft that fuses a CPU and a Blackwell GPU into a single package, removing the need for a separate graphics card.

At full strength the chip offers up to 20 Arm CPU cores, 6,144 CUDA cores, 128GB of unified memory, and around 1 petaflop of AI compute.

NVIDIA says that is enough to run 120-billion-parameter models directly on the device, letting AI agents handle long tasks locally instead of relying on the cloud.

The PC processor market has long belonged to Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, and Apple, while NVIDIA dominated only the data center.

RTX Spark is its first full silicon solution for Windows, and Microsoft built the new Surface Laptop Ultra around it, alongside Dell, HP, ASUS, Lenovo, and MSI. The first systems ship this fall.
