Next up on my #kickstarterwatch series is a sneak peak at ‘Dice and Dies’ @rijagames - make sure to drop the guys a follow to follow the progress of the campaign as it nears launch!

It’s hard to sum up the game in a few words as there really so many different ways you can actually play it - at its hearts it’s a card driven JRPG which can be embarked upon as a solo adventure or co-op with up to four players. It’s a boss battler with customisable difficulty and I was impressed by the sheer weight of content you get out of the box with hundreds of cards and variations giving the game a lot of replyability options!

You select a Hierophant to play as during the game and in solo mode you’ll be operating three of these and then you’ll assemble a 40 card deck that is going to drive to the game!

The storybook sets out the path the game will take and you’ll be encountering opponents with their own decks as you try and defeat the bosses with clever card play! The sheer volume of content and possible options here will have you coming back for more time and time again!
