L J Plumbing & Heating Services Ltd

Some news that we’re incredibly proud to finally share.

L J Plumbing & Heating Services has officially acquired @smh_gas_specialist as Steve prepares to retire after an incredible 50 years in the industry.

SMH has been a trusted name across Banbury and the surrounding area for decades, building a loyal customer base through honest advice, quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. As Steve begins a well-earned retirement, we are honoured to be entrusted with carrying that reputation forward.

For us, this is more than a business acquisition. It’s an opportunity to strengthen what we already do and continue investing in the service we provide to our customers.

By bringing SMH into the L J Plumbing & Heating family, we can offer customers access to a larger team, a wider range of services, increased capacity and the support of a growing business, whilst maintaining the personal service and attention to detail that both companies are known for.

Most importantly, this transition ensures continuity for existing SMH customers. Existing guarantees remain honoured, familiar faces remain involved, and the trusted service customers have come to expect will continue.

We’re also pleased to confirm that Mark will continue working with the business following Steve’s retirement. His knowledge, experience and relationships built over decades are invaluable, and we’re looking forward to welcoming him as part of the L J Plumbing & Heating team as we continue to grow.

Finally, we would like to thank Steve for an incredible contribution to the industry. Fifty years in the trade is a remarkable achievement and one that deserves huge respect.

We’re excited for what comes next and look forward to continuing to serve both existing and new customers across the region.
