This is Reggie and it was a pleasure to meet him and the other Inside Literary Prize judges in his cohort in Minnesota! I feel blessed to have been witness to the amazing conversations between everyone, bringing me to an even deeper understanding of these books and the transformative experience of reading and discussing in community 👏

Some of the books that have stayed with me the longest are ones I never would have picked up on my own. They challenged my assumptions, introduced me to new ideas, and helped me see things differently. What I love about the Inside Literary Prize is that it gives people the opportunity to engage with literature, share their perspectives, and have their voices heard as judges. Creating space for voices that might otherwise go unheard is part of what makes this initiative so worthwhile.
