One of the last sunsets in Bali. Traveling the world has taught me that the places you visit aren’t necessarily better than home. They’re just different. And maybe what I love most about travelling is the feeling it creates when it’s time to come back. That pull towards home. The excitement of getting back to the dogs, getting the car back, building it into the adventure vehicle I actually need, loading it up and heading somewhere with a reason to go. Road trips, camping, getting off the beaten track, finding new places and making the most of what we have at home. I don’t want the car to just be a toy sitting in the driveway. I want it to be part of the adventures, and part of doing something that actually has purpose. Change is good. So I’m ready for the next one. I’ve put work aside for a long time, and I’m genuinely excited to start something new. Something different. Something that makes a difference. This trip has made one thing pretty clear to me. Of everything I’ve done, I find more purpose in helping animals that need it than almost anything else in my life. So that’s where I want to put some of my energy next. Back home. The dogs. New adventures. A new build. A new purpose. Until it’s time for another change.
