we probly inside a crater. on a bigger earth. that's why all ancient civilizations have stories of deluge. the crater has flooded multiple times over millenia. and the sea faring moors restore humanity. the phoenicians.

Homie, the moon is on its own orbit it, it doesnt always stay on one side of the planet. Its why we have different moon phases. Its literally the earth blocking the sun and casting a shadow on the moon. Also solar eclipse are a thing. And thats during the day.
