Lina and I have been friends since the summer of my sophomore year, I am now going into to my summer of my senior year and we are still connected. We met from our German exchange, most people will never take the step of courage out of their comfort zone to live with a random family; but let this be your sign to step outside your comfort zone because you truly only live once in your life. Creating connections to people across the globe is something that unfortunately not everyone gets to experience in their life, maybe you are scared or maybe you haven’t found the right opportunity. But here we are, scared or not, Lina traveled across the world to visit me. There truly is nothing more important in life than love. Love your life, your past, future and present, but most importantly love the people who surround you and make you who you are.
