This young lady came to Houston from Arizona over the weekend to help prepare for her State qualifier track meet. Her parents made it very clear to me that she struggles with not showing up and breaking down when she feels any type of discomfort.
As an athlete, you cannot have big goals and big dreams with a small heart and small work ethic! It’s not gonna cut it! Her goal is to make it to Nationals and my job is to help her do that. The work is the only thing that works!!! We had to push through a few barriers this weekend but we are now headed in the right direction.
