AVAILABLE NOW! This morning, we released Nick McPhail’s “Hill” to our newsletter subscribers and have just released more to our social media followers.
⛰️Nick McPhail focused on building his limited edition print “Hill” from different textures, giving each part its own surface quality. This comes from his collage practice and an interest in bringing that layered, graphic feeling into oil painting.
⛰️ The partially hidden car and building changes the way the image is read and leaves the viewer to imagine what continues beyond the edge of the hill.
⛰️For this limited edition series, McPhail transformed ten unique prints through hand-painted acrylic interventions and collaged paper fragments sourced from other works. These additions introduced new layers of texture, depth, and individuality, making each print a one-of-a-kind piece.
⛰️A portion of the proceeds will benefit the @aliforneycenter, to help further its mission of protecting and empowering LGBTQ+ youth. Artists receive 50% of net proceeds from each sale.
TAP TO SHOP the print and add @nickmcphail’s limited edition print “Hill” to your collection.
