Me and my songwriter voice on a Sunday 🎹 Just a lil’ country type hook that dropped in ! 👼🏻 10 minutes ago … sharing in real time 💕

SO random !

Not dropping any hints about my life … I’m happily solo on this beautiful Sunday but, always in love with life and music and a believer in romance and I’m loving finding a new way of singing about the old clichè “True love is hard to find” … til ya do ! That’s country music for ya … and many of my songs … always a positive twist round the corner 🎵

If you can’t understand the lyrics … here they are :

It’s like finding a heart in a haystack
A dream you can’t get back when you wake
In the desert like “Oooh, there’s some water…”
No, that’s a mirage… not a lake
It’s like seeing a butterfly
Thinking “Let me try”
If they can fly, I can too
Love was like finding a heart in a haystack…
Til’ baby I found you 🤍

Same girl ☀️ new glow.

After battling topical steroid withdrawal (TSW), seeing my skin and my glow come back means everything.

I don’t think we talk enough about what happens when life hits you from every direction at once.

I was grieving the loss of my mom, learning how to be a new mother myself, and fighting a chronic illness that was consuming my life.

And for someone who has always prided herself on being strong, admitting (and sharing publicly) that I was struggling was one of the hardest parts.

But I’ve learned that strength isn’t always about how much you can handle. Sometimes it’s about allowing yourself to fall apart and trusting that, little by little, you’ll find your way back.

I’m still finding my way. But looking at these two versions of myself, I feel so much love for the woman who refused to give up. 🤍✨

“I’m pro-Israel because I’m pro-Palestine.”

MTF National Spokesperson Taryn Thomas explains why Palestinian freedom and Israel’s existence are not mutually exclusive.

A political movement that treats Israel’s existence and Palestinian freedom as mutually exclusive traps Palestinians in permanent conflict. Palestinian liberation cannot require Jewish elimination.

Real freedom means the ability to live, vote, speak openly, and build a future without terror or oppression. Palestinians deserve that future and it does not, nor will it ever, require Israel’s destruction.
