From Nabatieh, Kafarrouman to Beirut, we came carrying music, films, poetry, stories, herbs, dreams, and a stubborn belief that culture still matters.
And Beirut welcomed us with open arms.
Over the past weeks, this city reminded us why we continue. It gave us space to gather, create, experiment, collaborate, and most importantly, reconnect with friends, family, and the wider community that has always carried us forward.
Together, we introduced beloved artists from the South, built unexpected collaborations, tested Stayha’s operations in the city, and discovered once again that generosity is stronger than division.
Despite everything we’ve been told to fear, people continue to show up for one another. Beirut was kind. Beirut was generous. Beirut was ours, and we hope we were yours too.
This Saturday, June 13, we celebrate the closing of this beautiful chapter with a fundraiser gathering full of music, poetry, dancing, and community.
