Made Korean *non-spicy* chicken stew (dak bokkeumtang) for the whole family tonight - I think you + your kids will love this one too. 😉🍗 comment “RECIPE” to get this recipe sent to your DMs!

KOREAN NON-SPICY CHICKEN STEW
Serving size: 2 adults + 2 kids

Ingredients:
2.5 - 3 lbs of chicken drumsticks
3 potatoes, halved
1 onion, halved
2 large carrots, cut into 1-2 inch pieces
3 scallions, cut into 1-2 inch pieces

3 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of Gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
1/2 tbsp of Doenjang (Korean soybean paste)
2 tbsp of mirin
6 tbsp of soy sauce
4 tbsp of oyster sauce
1 tbsp of minced garlic
1 tsp of grated ginger
a pinch of ground black pepper
1/2 cup of water
1 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tsp of sesame seeds

Directions:
1. Mix all sauce ingredients in the instant pot insert (soy sauce, Gochujang, Doenjang, mirin, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and water.)
2. Add your chicken drumsticks and coat them evenly in the sauce. Let them sit and marinate while prepping your vegetables.
3. Add your vegetables and give them a quick toss in the sauce. Close the IP lid and pressure cook on HIGH for 20 minutes.
4. When done, manual / quick release. When the steam is done releasing, open and press the SAUTE button to thicken the sauce, about 10 minutes.
5. When the sauce is thickened, turn off the SAUTE mode. Top with scallions, sesame oil and sesame seeds and enjoy!

Manifest and Manifesting

Downed it.

Rams Old Kicker Harrison Mevis
• 6’0”, 245 lbs.

Rams New Kicker Blake Grupe
• 5’7”, 156 lbs.

A massive change in LA.

Harrison Mevis went from having the opportunity to be the hero to getting CUT by the Los Angeles Rams after their heartbreaking 37-34 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills. Mevis missed a 50-yard field goal earlier in the game before having his potential game-winning 48-yard attempt blocked in overtime. After everything Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense did to keep Los Angeles alive, watching their kicker fail to deliver in such a massive moment was absolutely brutal.

What makes this situation even crazier is how quickly everything fell apart for Mevis. Just last season, he was making clutch kicks and helping the Rams win important games, but this year has been a completely different story. He made just five of his nine field goal attempts through five games, and Sean McVay made it clear after Monday night’s loss that the kicking situation wasn’t good enough. Less than a day later, reports emerged that the Rams were moving on from him.

The NFL is genuinely a ruthless business, especially when you’re a kicker. One moment you’re being celebrated for winning games, and the next you’re looking for another team because you couldn’t deliver when it mattered most. Mevis certainly wasn’t the only reason Los Angeles lost, but his struggles became impossible to ignore. The Rams reportedly decided to bring in Blake Grupe, officially signaling that they had seen enough.
