Community has always been a key factor in why AddedJoi was created. Being a Black woman in this world, you go through and witness a lot that other women may or may not experience in this lifetime, which is why we have to stick together to make the best of it.

Project “Root to Rise” is finally bridging the gap between community, accessibility and womanhood. Yes, all three can exist at the same time. After losing my job a few months ago and struggling to figure out my next move, I realized there weren’t many resources for a young woman like myself and decided to create my own for those just like me.
