🩷💜💚💜🩷 It was all change in the garden yesterday …. The geraniums which have been flowering away in their terracotta pots on the patio all summer, have now all been moved into the greenhouse for the winter. I’ve taken them out of their terracotta pots and replanted them into old plastic pots for their winter stay. Which means I can reuse my lovely terracotta pots for something a bit more seasonal. This year I’ve chosen pansies to bring a fresh splash of colour to the patio. They’re all potted up and ready to brighten things up as the days get shorter and the temperatures start to drop. And the geraniums? They’re all settled into their new home in the greenhouse, where I’ll keep an eye on them over the coming months. I honestly love spending time in my greenhouse. The radio on in the background, a bit of pottering about, looking after my plants… it’s one of my favourite places to escape to. There’s something so relaxing about it, especially at this time of year. Gardening really is about looking ahead as much as enjoying what’s flowering now. So, summer geraniums out of sight for winter, and pansies taking their place. A little change of season here at The Little End Cottage. 🍂 Are you bringing your geraniums in for winter, or do you grow yours as annuals? I’ll be doing another post soon about cutting the geraniums back for winter. They’re still so pretty at the moment that I couldn’t make myself give them the chop just yet! Happy Sunday everyone 😀 #cottagegarden #geraniums #pansies #greenhousegardening #autumngardening Moving geraniums into the greenhouse for winter ~ overwintering pelargoniums in the UK ~ autumn patio planting ideas ~ planting pansies in terracotta pots ~ preparing a cottage garden for winter ~ greenhouse gardening in autumn ~ caring for geraniums over winter ~ seasonal container gardening ~ English cottage garden ~ autumn flowers for pots ~ cottage garden inspiration ~ new gardeners ~ learn to garden ~ pansy ~ pansies ~ autumn planting ~ gardening

Turkish authorities detained Richard James Schueler, known as #RichardHeart, a cryptocurrency figure known as “WhaleJames” and founder of Hex, PulseChain, and PulseX, in Istanbul on October 14, 2026, following an operation involving the country’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and police forces. Schueler was wanted internationally under an Interpol Red Notice and has been accused by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of embezzling more than $1 billion in cryptocurrency funds. Authorities also reportedly arrested his wife during the operation. Searches at the Istanbul property uncovered $4 million in cash, dozens of luxury watches, jewelry, firearms, ammunition, and digital equipment. Turkish authorities have not released an official valuation of the seized assets. The operation took place in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, reportedly following intelligence that Schueler was in the city. MİT coordinated the operation with Turkish security forces, while special operations teams took part in the raid. Schueler was taken into custody at the property. The search also extended to materials that could help investigators examine Schueler’s cryptocurrency activity. Items reportedly recovered included cold wallets, encrypted external hard drives, high-performance computers, cryptocurrency miningequipment, and network devices. The materials could provide investigators with information about digital asset holdings and transactions, although authorities have not disclosed whether they have accessed any wallets or identified additional funds. The case centers on allegations that Schueler misappropriated more than $1 billion in cryptocurrency funds through fraudulent projects and manipulative transactions. He is also accused of attempting to conceal the movement of the funds by dividing them into smaller amounts and routing them through shell companies allegedly established in the United States, Finland, and Spain.
