Grazie @gaetanomule_

Hot Take for the Audiobook Hot Takes. Feeling salty. Might delete later. If you’re feeling like “every book” has the same narrator(s) then it’s probably time to try some different authors, genres and narrators you’ve never heard before. If you see them “everywhere” then you need to retrain your algorithm and actively seek out some different audiobooks. But when you make a post like this and then don’t monitor your comments, guess who’s probably going to see it even if you didn’t tag them? The person you’re talking about and the people being mentioned in your comments over and over again. Can we just not? You’re tired of _____’s narration? Then don’t listen to those audiobooks. Pick something different. It’s not hard. #audiobooklover #hottake #audiobookstagram

To be clear: our statement is not about Mystic Garden, our team, or our events. It is about the allegations as reported about another organisation. Most of our team are women, many of them young, and one of our two owners is a woman. Their safety in this scene is our responsibility. That is why we are not staying quiet. This must stop. And everyone who keeps it going — by booking, hosting, promoting, or staying silent as if nothing happened — shares the responsibility for it going on.
