I was listening to the Blue Trane record on my way in to work today and was blown away by this intro that Philly Joe Jones took. I’ve also been spending some time working out that hihat sound I hear Philly Joe Jones, Art Taylor, and Elvin Jones playing on different Coltrane albums. Happy practicing!
