Taking off my jersey for the last time was truly emotional. Looking at the jersey I’ve worn for 5 years knowing I would never put it on again was heartbreaking. Running out to centerfield for the last time with this team and taking the field with kids I’ve known for year is a memory I will always cherish. Getting experience this season with my friends felt unreal. From bus rides after a win, to going to Disney in the beginning of the season. The amount of love I have for all of my teammates can’t be matched. I’ve never been on a team that cares about each other as much as we do. There weren’t any small groups inside the team. We were just one team who loved to be together. I can’t put into words how special this year was to me. I was always excited to go to either practice or a game just because I get to see all of my friends. Thank you Center Moriches Baseball for the best memories. I wish I had the words to describe how much this meant to me. #8 out
