Former Ryder Cup venue and also hosted both the Walker & Curtis Cup.

This inland links course in North Yorkshire sits on land that was previously an inlet for the North sea. Now the sandy soil means firm and fast fairways paired with reveted bunkers, gorse,undulating greens and sandscrapes makes you feel like your at a true links course.

Every hole gives you options and makes you think. Forced carry's over sand from the tee and deep bunkers mean you need to be on your game.

There is a good mix of both longer and short holes such as 280 yard par 4 but a 219 yard par 3 (both from the yellows and by the way who needs a 219 yard par 3 🤣 )

In terms of architect..... take your pick 😆

This place is special, the drive in, the history the bunkers the sand the sleepers.

I paid £120 for a twilight round at this world top 100 course and while I may not of had the typical golden hour weather I loved this place.
