When their initial plans for a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt fell through, the "SubwayTakes" host and the writer pivoted to a last-minute celebration in their home city. “It had to happen," says Kareem. At first, after the couple welcomed their daughter, Sufi, in 2024, they weren't quite sure if marriage was in their future. However, after attending a few of their close friend's weddings, they decided it was something they wanted.
