Six Flags Victim Identified After Being Ejected From Goliath Roller Coaster, 9 Other Rides Shut Down 🎥: @cbseveningnews Blogged by: Grace L. Police have identified the man who died after being ejected from a roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia as Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, 42, of Atlanta. His death on Monday, October 12, has prompted Six Flags to temporarily shut down nine additional roller coasters across six parks in the United States and Canada. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, Cobb County police responded to the incident involving the Goliath roller coaster at approximately 3:58 p.m. Investigators said preliminary interviews with witnesses and park employees indicate Kariem was thrown from the moving ride, struck other passengers, and fell beneath the attraction. Officers discovered Kariem underneath the roller coaster, where he was unresponsive and not breathing. The Cobb County Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit was called to investigate. Authorities have not determined what caused him to leave his seat or publicly disclosed his official cause of death. The Six Flags death also left other visitors injured. According to WSB-TV Channel 2, officials reported four additional injuries. The identities of those injured, the severity of their injuries, and whether they were all passengers on Goliath have not been publicly confirmed. Witnesses described a terrifying sequence of events as the roller coaster continued moving. According to CNN’s reporting, one witness told Atlanta station WXIA that Kariem struck the coaster car three separate times before landing on the roof of a haunted house attraction below. Another passenger, Logan Conner, told NBC News that he witnessed Kariem come out of his seat and collide with the coaster train. Conner said he made eye contact with Kariem during the incident. His account illustrates how quickly the tragedy unfolded for passengers who had no way to stop what was happening.

The Delhi Police has denotified Jantar Mantar as a designated venue for protests and demonstrations, naming three alternative sites for such gatherings, amid a standoff with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) over permission to hold a peaceful protest and the INDIA bloc’s planned march to the Supreme Court. According to a standing order dated October 11, 2026, the three newly designated venues are Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground and CBD Ground in East Delhi. The order, signed by Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar, modifies an earlier standing order dated April 28, 2022, which had designated Jantar Mantar as a protest venue. 📸 iStock #cjp #protest #delhi #jantarmantar #aa
Ameca is getting attention for a reaction that feels almost eerily human. 🤖👀 The humanoid robot created by British robotics company Engineered Arts was captured observing its reflection in a mirror. Its delicate facial movements and expressions make the moment look surprisingly realistic. Ameca’s face uses a network of motors and actuators to produce expressions such as smiling, blinking, frowning and raising its eyebrows. These tiny movements help recreate the subtle cues people naturally associate with human behavior. However, a lifelike reaction doesn't mean the robot is experiencing emotions or recognizing its own reflection as a person would. Its movements are driven by advanced robotics and software designed to make interactions between humans and machines feel more natural. Even so, seeing a humanoid robot interact with a mirror in such a convincing way offers a fascinating look at how far robotic technology has progressed. The line between mechanical movement and humanlike behavior is becoming increasingly interesting. 🤯 👉👉Follow @aiupdates.hub for daily insights that keep you ahead in AI, Tech and Robotics 🎥 Source: @engineered_arts #Ameca #HumanoidRobot #Robotics #ArtificialIntelligence #FutureTechnology
