LSU Physics and Astronomy REU Program

The @lsuphysastro REU program is running again this year! We're delighted to announce our annual Astronomy Night next Thursday, June 25 at 6:30pm in Nicholson Hall 130. This year we have Dr. Tabetha Boyajian giving a talk entitled 'Where's the Flux, Now?' For those who don't get the reference, this will be an update on the status of 'Tabby's Star', dubbed the Most Mysterious Star in the Galaxy. As usual, this will be followed by demos by the REU students, liquid nitrogen ice-cream, a ham radio demonstration, and viewing from the Landolt Astronomical Observatory (@lao.lsu) (weather permitting).
