When there is heart, there are possibilities. There is motivation, time, strength, commitment, effort, persistence, discipline, courage, determination, willpower, autonomy, and love.
Growing up, I remember grabbing my volleyball, and heading to the wall at the tennis courts at Grêmio in Londrina, with my best friend Kellen! @kfoganholi — We would spend hours there—rep after rep after rep—working on our game with nothing but a ball, a wall, and a dream.
No one was watching. No one was forcing us. We were simply committed to getting better.
I love this game so much—the mixed emotions that come with it, the highs and lows, the victories and disappointments. This game has shown me the world, introduced me to incredible people, taught me invaluable lessons, and given me opportunities I never could have imagined.
It has already given me so much, and I still believe it has more to give.
I would do it all over again.
