Here we have it, our day captured by
@shimmystudio_ and most importantly our total raised in Bruce’s name with this years fundraiser.
🎥: As seems to be the tradition with the open day, our videographer fell though and we had a last minute social media call out for help.
@shimmyjitsu seen our post and reached out. Although we have never met, the Scottish BJJ community can be an amazing place.
He generously offered his time and skills to document our day and as you can see he has provided us with a lovely momento of the day.
We hope he won’t be a stranger and is welcome in our gym anytime!

£9000 + over £1900 in gift aid heading straight to
@brighteststarcharityuk.
Arlene and Brightest Star were there for Bobby, Jackie and their young family when they needed support the most, and they continue to provide that support today.
They do the same for countless other families facing unimaginable circumstances every week.
That’s why, each year, we come together not only to remember Bruce and celebrate his life, but it is our way of giving back and supporting the charity that stood beside one of our own. 💪🏽
Thank you to all who liked and shared our posts.
To everyone who donated anything little or large on our just giving page and to those in attendance on the day.
The biggest thank you goes out to our competitors past and present, without them there would be no fundraiser.
Since 2018 they have come out and put on a show. I said on the day that I know they probably don’t understand how much of a difference they make, but we hope that when they are older they look back on the fundraisers with fond memories and know they were part of something wonderful 😊
On to next year ….. 😮💨
