Why 108 Sun Salutations for the Summer Solstice?
The Summer Solstice is a seasonal turning point — the longest day of the year and a celebration of light, energy, growth, and renewal.
In yoga tradition, Sun Salutations are a way of honoring the sun through breath, movement, rhythm, and attention. The number 108 is often understood as a sacred number connected to wholeness, completion, and sacred repetition.
Together, 108 Sun Salutations become a moving meditation — a way to mark the season, honor the light, and participate in community.
At RedTail, this is not about perfection or performance.
Do what you can.
Rest when you need.
Modify as needed.
Come for all or any portion that works for you.
The RedTail teaching team will take turns leading until we complete 108 together.
