🔥🔥🔥NWA🔥🔥🔥2011 Seiko SKX173. New to Me as I indicated yesterday. The discontinued first ISO 6425 200M compliant automatic dive watch specifically produced as a North American market variant of the iconic SKX007. Differences between the two include rectangular indices and a prominent trapezoid marker at 12 o’clock as well as a lollipop seconds hand where the luminous meatball is at the pointing tip. In my first post for #militarywatchweek I asked what is a military watch. Seiko has a long history of military history and this watch was on my Navy SEAL friend’s wrist for 15 years of jumps, dives, and deployments. Modifications (himself) include replacing the Hardlex with a blue AR coated sapphire crystal and installing a black chapter ring. Then the watch was sent back to Seiko to ensure its water resistance. The bezel insert was replaced multiple times. Knowing what this watch has done, I considered it an honor I was asked if I wanted it. I consider myself more of a generational caretaker of the watch than an owner. Every now and then I whisper to the watch I am here to talk but the watch continues to live up to the reputation of the “Quiet Professionals”. But I know there are stories.
THROWBACK THURSDAY!!! Then and Now!! LONGEVITY BABY!! It’s so much fun to re-live these incredible memories!!! I wore this leotard over 30 years ago while filming my TV show and WOW i am so HAPPY I saved it!!!! I feel just as great in it now as I did back then!! That’s why I believe so much in daily movement!! Exercising regularly, even if its just going on a walk can work wonders for your health!!! You deserve to always feel your best...Because YOU are worth it!!! love you all, Denise. Xoxo

y’all know what time it is…😈 yes, we put up our trees on November 1st and have zero regrets about it! 🎄 we’re not big holiday people truthfully, but something about putting up our themed trees just brings us so much joy and that’s needed more than ever right now! 💚 and fun fact, the smaller tree was the first Christmas tree my spouse and I bought together 8 years ago! 🥹 also I may have plans to construct a third tree… 👀 #christmastree #treedecorations #pastelchristmas #maximalisthome #pokemonhome
Something I’ve been pondering. #cerebralpalsy #speechimpediment
